Dear Artist,

The Rotary Club of Yea Inc. is pleased to invite you to enter our 33rd Annual Art Show, which this year will again feature Sculpture, 3D, Textile and Fabric Categories. These exhibits will be on display in the Shire Hall ‘Green Room’.

register electronically and pay your registration fees online!!
 
 In 2018 there will be prizes totalling $7,250. The first prize is $2,500, there are two $1,000 prizes as  well as a special award of $500. We appreciate the ongoing support of our major sponsor - The Frank Hargrave Family Trust   and also the significant support of Murrindindi   Shire Council.  We are very grateful to all our terrific sponsors whose generosity allows us to maintain this event
 
All prizes are non-acquisitive. There will be seven sectional prizes of $250 in the following categories
 
 
1. Traditional Work:    
Portraits, Still Life, Landscape or Narrative.
2. Contemporary Work:     
using abstract or symbolic imagery in any medium.
3. Miniatures:
including watercolour, painting, drawing, pastel and collage
4. Local Work: 
in any medium featuring the Yea Wetlands or within a radius of 20 kms of Yea Township.
5. Emerging Artist: 
any person new to art, or exhibiting and who has not previously won a prize at an Art Show
6. Sculpture and 3D:  
artwork in any medium (entries subject to space availability)
7. Fabric and Textiles: 
an idea or vision expressed through the medium of textiles
8. Most Popular Exhibit:
chosen by patrons – votes counted at 3.00pm on 29th January 2018
 
 
  
in addition, a Junior Section and with prize money totalling $250:  
 
1. Junior Work:   
submissions by a secondary student      ($150)                              
2. Junior Work:
submissions by a primary age  student   ($100)  
 
The Yea Rotary Art Show Committee would like to thank Artists for their ongoing support of our Art Show which continues to grow and develop within the area and further afield. The Art Show offers the Rotary Club of Yea an important fundraising opportunity which enables our Club to provide aid to local, national and international community projects.
 
We look forward to more fantastic Artwork this year. Exhibiting artists holding their entry receipt will be admitted free during opening hours on any day during the Art Show
