GUEST SPEAKER: Tracey Ukosich Riding Across The Nullabor
John Sinclair introduced Tracey who completed a bicycle ride across the Nullabor and raised over $30,000 for MS. She received a warm welcome an
d thanked the Rotary Club of Yea for their support which raised over one third of the total.She went on to talk about the ride, the towns and places she visited with Dee Wilson as her support and the growth of their friendship. Tracey also spoke about the hardships endured by herself and others and the dangers of cycling on a main route across Australia.
After the ride she worked as a Loco assistant for the sugar trains and now wants to become a Loco driver.
When asked what was she most proud of after having completed the event, Tracey said it was the challenging of herself in the most difficult times and tasks.

RYLA—Award nominations are due in March
Yea Community House, meeting on Tuesday February 16. Di to attend
Adult Riders’Club. A meeting was held and the toilets will need to be demolished.
Rotary was asked if they’d like to erect the new one and we’ve said no. Instead a one off donation of $750 total is to be made.
Sculptures in Pioneer Park. Submissions have been made to Murrindindi Shire Council and we need to wait 60 days before following up.
Volunteers for races on February 20 have been found.
Volunteers to help with the RACV 2030 event on February 27 were called for.
District requested our club donate to their Tonga fund. We will donate $1000.
