MEETING NOTES PP
Ian Marshman has presented a request to Rotary to help preserve the history of Limestone. The Board has supported his request and plans to apply for grant from District for $2000 which the club will match. This promoted discussion from members and Gary Fitzgerald wants the proposal to come to the meeting be[1]fore being endorsed by the Board. Carol will help PPaul to put in the application for the grant.
Under Article 7 Minutes of the Board meetings have to be circulated to members within 60 days. This will now be scheduled.
Russell Hogg has sent out the final list of disbursements.
Glenn Milliken has a new exchange student opportunity which he will bring us up to date on.

SECRETARY’S REPORT Ian had received the Rotary magazine and a letter from the Bionics Institute asking for a donation. PP Carol invited Glenda to take the Chair.

ELLY GAY - wanted to express appreciation to Rotary and in particular Ian S for renovations on her house needed when she had a serous farm accident. She is very physically handicapped. Tony Jacobs had found her to be an inspirational speaker and has invited her as our Guest Speaker for May 19.
 
GUEST SPEAKER—Jim Osborne — Chairman of Yea and District Community Bendigo Bank
Jim gave a very interesting and informative presentation on the bank, which was followed by a question and answer session.
