        33rd Art Show and Sale

 
Conditions of Entry
 
  1. All works must be the original, uncopied work of the entrant and not previously exhibited at the Yea Art Show. Artists entering in Junior Section must be enrolled secondary or primary students in 2017.
  2. Each exhibitor may enter no more than 6 paintings or pieces of work
  3. Except for works of art considered contemporary or modern, each art entry must be framed. Each entry must be delivered in a condition suitable for hanging.
  4. Identification details must be affixed to the back of each exhibit
  5. Display of all Artwork is subject to space availability. Substitute paintings will not necessarily be accepted and will be considered for display subject to space availability.
  6. Upon completion, entry forms and payment are to be sent either by mail to :

 7.   Entries close at 6 pm on Friday 5th January 2018
 
          8.  Entry Fees are as follows:
  • $10.00 per work with an overall area of less than 1 square metre
  • $18.00 for each work having an overall area of 1 square metre or more (size inclusive of frame or border)
  • $6 for each miniature, (Max art dimension:12cm, max frame dimension 25 cm)
9. Pairs able to be sold separately must be identified on the entry form.
 
  10. Entries must be delivered to Yea Shire Hall, High St, Yea free of all charges. Entries must be delivered on Tuesday 23rd January 2018, 9.30 am until 5.00 pm. Unsold works must be collected from Yea Shire Hall on Monday 29th  January 2018 between 3.30 pm and 5 pm.

12.Rotary Club of Yea Inc. will retain 25% of the sale price of any exhibit sold at or as a result of the Art Show. Payments covering sales proceeds and prizes won will be forwarded to artists no later than 28 days following the close of the Art Show. Artists’ attention is drawn to the GST notice on the entry form
 
13. Rotary Club of Yea Inc. reserves the right to reject any work for any reason. If an entry is not exhibited for any reason, the entry fee will not be refunded.
 
14. Rotary Club of Yea Inc. will exercise all reasonable care with works submitted, but will not be held responsible for loss or damage to any work while in its care or in transit, for any insurance cover on works either in  transit  or while exhibited or for errors or omissions in the Art Show Catalogue.
 
15. Rotary Club of Yea Inc. shall appoint the judge whose decisions will be final.
