Sadly, all good things come to an end, and whilst Fabios’ parents are very excited that he is coming home after 12 months, we are really sad to say goodbye! Fabio

It's been a year of experiences — mastering English, learning our culture, and of personal growth and new skills which will be with him for his lifetime.
Travelling from Switzerland to Yea, Fabio has embraced every opportunity offered to him and has participated in the 9790 Exchange program weekends and interstate tours on the East Coast and to Uluru and Kangaroo Island. He has tried Aussie Rules football, golf, surfing, waterskiing, camping, sleeping in a swag … just to name a few! Fabio visited New Zealand with Kristie & Eoghan and visited family friends on the Sunshine Coast.
There is no doubt the Paying It Forward trip to Vanuatu was an incredible trip, with life changing experiences in humility and humanity which will remain forever.
Fabio has availed himself to assist at all Rotary programs, be it riding in Cycle Dindi, public speaking at District Conference and local radio, or helping with Open Gardens.
Whilst Fabio has a message of “thankyou” to Yea Rotary for the support and for so many opportunities given to him, we say thank you Fabio for your friendship and for embracing your exchange to fulfill your dreams.
President Elect, Penny, who attended the Rotary Internation Conference 2024 in Singapore in May, presented President Tony with a Banner from the Singapore East Rotary Club.
