KELLY WILSMORE

Dr Troski is a specialist at cataract surgery and Kelly has become an expert at foreign body removal, although she has a broad range of experience.

PETER TULL
Peter told us the story of his family, starting with George Tull who was born in Murrindindi.
Peter was born in 1952 , had 2 siblings and went to Yea Primary and Secondary Schools.
As a boy, he had to bring the firewood in, help with milking and various other jobs on the properties where they lived. Later he trained as a wool class-er and in artificial insemination while working with sheep.
He’s worked as a cattle overseer, been involved with embryo transplants and been an Elders rep. Peter married Kerry in 1964 and have 3 children.

3 MINUTER—Glenda Woods.
Glenda spoke about her role as PR officer for the club. She started in 2014. These days it is a digital world and the job description is more like Public Image or Marketing. It involves photos for the Bulletin every week, daily monitoring of 4 Face-book pages ie Yea Rotary, Cycle Dindi, Garden Expo and Open Gardens which involves time and photos. Then the ticketed events involve Trybooking which has to be set up and monitored so that all the correct information goes to the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse which is a source used by the Shire for their events calendar. There’s a small marketing committee which liaises with printers, produces flyers, writes articles and compiles advertising. Some events have up to $3000 costs for marketing them. Glenda asked members to wear their Rotary shirts, take pictures on their phones and send them to Glenda along with a few lines to explain what’s going on
We have a great club with great stories. Let’s get it out there with photos.
