CYCLE DINDI—Julie (Cycle Dindi Photos)
171 registrations plus visitors and volunteers making over 200 participants.
Visitors love the experience and a big thankyou goes out to John and Clare Sinclair for having us at Nutfield and Cremona.
Glenn and his son rode 93km to Merton and Back in under 6 hours. So far $1000 plus has been raised in sponsorship.
Julie thanked everyone involved especially the committee of Ian, Glenda and Bob H.
There will be a follow up visit from the Rotary Club of Alexandra in about 2 weeks and the total of funds raised will be announced, but Julie is expecting $8000 plus.
SHIRE OF MURRINDINDI - President Paul reported that he’d had a letter asking if we would like to be listed on their Volunteer Register. This will have to go to the Board first.
SECRETARY’S REPORT—Ian
Ian has followed up re planning applications for the shelters in the main street and balance of works in Pio-neer Reserve.
CANCER COUNCIL—letter to be followed up by Ian
CATERERS—Flowerdale Primary School not available tonight, so we had pizza and icecreams
FUN NIGHT—Paul would like to have a combined night with Kinglake Rotary Club
ROTARY EXCHANGE—Cheyenne
She has had her 2nd orientation weekend during which she had to make a nerve racking presentation in Japanese and participate in a skit presented with other students going to the Czech Republic. Cheyenne expects to be outgoing in August.
TREASURER’S REPORT—Russell Hogg
Russell had circulated his report and he went through a few features. St Lukes Church wanted to donate to flood victims and also the Ukraine so did so through Rotary to the tune of $3000
Callendoon have paid for the work done at the recent wedding.
We have an outstanding payment due from RACV for $2100
COMMUNITY SERVICES—Di Welsh
Di ran through the planning and help needed for Anzac Day Most of the jobs are filling, but she will cir-culate a roster and if you can give some time, please add your name.
Di also thanked Carol Hogg for the great job done on the programme.
INTERNATIONAL—$2000 donated to Ukraine
CLUB ADMINISTRATION—Tony reported that Carol has agreed to pull together all the policies and procedures for the club into one place
PUBLIC IMAGE—Glenda—Annual Report coming up and she needs reports from each Chair and pho-tos submitted by the start of June. Could the Board also decide if they need printed copies of the reports.
LES HALL asked the Board to consider new burners for the 6 burner BBQ.
